It helps to include the email address the family account uses, what you were doing, and roughly when. If it is about a particular activity, naming it is usually enough for us to find it.

What not to send

Please do not paste your child’s answers or their feedback into an email, and never send us a password. An email is not protected the way the account is, and we do not need either of those to look into a problem.

Describing what happened is enough. The help page says what is useful for a report about feedback.

When you will hear back

• Ordinary questions, and reports about confusing, incorrect or upsetting feedback — we aim to reply within two working days.
• Any privacy-rights request — a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, a restriction or an objection — without undue delay, and normally within one calendar month. The privacy page explains how we check the request comes from the account holder.
• Anything about a child’s safety, personal information being exposed, or a security problem — looked at straight away, and the activity or page involved is taken down while it is investigated.
